all: összes/minden/egész

all+ többes számban a főnév + többes számú az igeragozás is

We all love your dog. – Mi mindannyian szeretjük a kutyádat.

all of us/you/them + többes számú az igeragozás

All of us love your dog. – Mindannyian szeretjük a kutyádat.

every: mind/összes

every+ egyes számú főnév + egyes számú az igeragozás

Every person loves dogs. – Mindenki szereti a kutyákat.

I go for a walk with my dog every day. – Minden nap elmegyek sétálni a kutyámmal.

none: egy sem – semmi/egyik sem

none – amikor a jelentése semmi/nothing akkor egyes számú ragozású lesz az őt követő ige

I ate it all, and now none is left. – Mindet megettem és semmi sem maradt.

none of + them/us/you/the students + egyes számú ragozás (hivatalos stílusban)/ többes számú ragozás (hétköznapi stílusban)

None of his novels is well-written. – Egyik regénye sincs jól megírva.

None of my close friends are going to the party. – Egyik közeli barátom sem fog menni a partira.

De ha csak két dologra/személyre utalunk, akkor a none of helyett a neither of-t használjuk:

I sat down at a table. There were only two people sitting there. Neither of them said anything. – Leültem egy asztalhoz. Két ember ült ott. Egyikük sem mondott semmit.
