Brody has three upcoming movies in 2023, with the talented actor turning fifty recently it’s a good time to reflect and look back at some of his greatest roles. The Thin Red Line (1998) Directed by Terrence Malick, this epic powerful war film based on an autobiographical novel and starring great actors such as Sean Penn is seen as one of the best war films in modern times.  Brody took on the role of C. Company’s Corporal Geoffrey Fife in the movie which focuses on the conflict at Guadalcanal during World War II.  Summer of Sam (1999) Spike Lee’s movie on the Son of Sam murders has Brody as punk freak outcast Ritchie, a friend of the main character Vinnie. At the same time John Berkowitz, the notorious murderer is at large in the North Bronx neighbourhood. The Pianist (2002) This is the famous one – Brody played real-life Polish-Jewish pianist Wladysław Szpilman, a musician struggling to survive the Warsaw ghetto of World War II and showing how his world changed following the Nazi invasion.
