Zero waste is a trendy word nowadays. It means that we try to produce very little or no waste in our everyday life. In the picture, we can see fruits, vegetables, eggs, oil and pasta. They are in reusable cloth bags or jars. It is probably a shop where customers use their own packaging when they want to buy something. They don’t use plastic bags. It is very environmentally friendly. As for me, I haven’t tried shopping like that yet. But if I go shopping I always take my reusable bags with me and I never buy plastic bags. I put bread, bakery products, fruits and vegetables into cloth bags instead of plastic bags. My mum sewed these bags. They are nice and colourful and very practical and I don’t have to pay extra money for packaging. I try to reuse many things, for example, glass jars, bottles, egg containers or the plastic boxes that food is in. I even wash the butter or margarine tubs and store leftovers in them.
