Colombian pop star Shakira has appeared to have taken aim at her ex-partner in a new rap song that has been viewed more than 65 million times. The Hips Don’t Lie singer split with footballer Gerard Pique last year after more than 11 years together, and having two children. In the track, Shakira, 45, collaborates with DJ Bizarrap, an Argentinian producer, and waxes lyrical about how she really feels. She raps lines such as, “I’m worth two 22-year-olds”, “you swapped a Ferrari for a Twingo” and “a She-Wolf like me isn’t for rookies“. Elsewhere she says, “there’s a thin line between love and hate, don’t come back here, trust me” and “when I needed you, you gave me the worst version of you”. Shakira also mentions her mother-in-law and her well-documented problems with her tax bill, saying: “You left me with my mother-in-law as a neighbour, with the press at my door and a debt to the taxman.” The clip, which has been viewed more than 65 million times in just over 24 hours, is also trending at the top of YouTube’s music pages. sources: Flipboard and Sky News MOST PEDIG HALLGASD MEG A DALT 🙂
