Let’s dive into the sports of fiction! Quidditch, Harry Potter The most well-known kind of fantasy sport is quidditch, which was popularised by J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter book series. In the world of Harry Potter, players move around the field on broomsticks while completing various objectives, such as passing a ball through a series of hoops, preventing the other team from scoring by swatting away balls and retrieving the elusive “snitch,” a small flying golden ball that determines the winner of the game. Since it is unfortunately impossible for muggles (those who are not wizards) to play Quidditch, a lot of Harry Potter fans came up with their version of the game called Muggle Quidditch.
